Kent Knowles is a figurative artist and author. His most recent paintings address the themes of self-preservation and isolation. Kent is represented by Alan Avery Art Company in Atlanta, GA, Linda Matney Gallery in Williamsburg, VA & The Morren Galleries in Utrecht, Netherlands.
When he is not painting, Kent can be found writing. He is the author/illustrator of 2 children’s books, Lucius and the Storm and The Realm of Smaller Things and is an avid writer of Horror screenplays. Kent currently teaches in the Painting department at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta where he is also the Associate Chair of Fine Arts.
